1. General provisions

This Policy describes what data the JoyIn service (joyin.uz) — the website and mobile app (the “Service”) — processes, and how we use and protect it. By using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Policy.

2. What data we process

We process only the data necessary for video meetings to work:

• Account data: name, email address, avatar (if uploaded) and identifier when signing in via Google, Apple, Yandex or Telegram.
• The guest name you enter when joining a room (no account is created).
• Camera and microphone: during a meeting your video and audio are streamed to other participants in real time. We do not store audio or video, except when the host enabled meeting recording.
• Meeting content: chat messages, shared files, and meeting ratings.
• Meeting recordings (audio and video) — only if recording was enabled by the host. Recordings are kept for 30 days, then automatically deleted unless you saved them manually.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, connection metadata and times — for security, moderation and connection quality.
• Device push notification token — for meeting reminders and service notifications (only if you allowed notifications).

3. How we use data

Only to operate the Service: hosting video meetings, identifying the host, meeting history and recordings, reminders and service emails. We do not show ads, do not track you across other apps, and do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell data. To operate the Service, data is processed by our service providers strictly to the extent needed for features:

• LiveKit — video infrastructure (real-time video and audio streaming).
• Resend — sending emails (invitations, reminders, support).
• Sign-in providers Google, Apple, Yandex, Telegram — only for authentication using your chosen sign-in method.
• Yandex.Metrica — web analytics on the joyin.uz website (not used in the mobile app).

5. Data storage and protection

Data is stored on servers in Uzbekistan, and connections are protected by encryption. Meeting recordings are kept for 30 days. Account data is kept while the account is active and is deleted when the account is deleted. We apply reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect data.

6. Data deletion and your rights

You can delete your account and associated data at any time right in the app: Settings → “Delete account”. You can also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by writing to info@joyin.uz. We will process the request within a reasonable time.

7. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Cookies and analytics

The joyin.uz website uses cookies and Yandex.Metrica web analytics for correct operation and performance evaluation. The mobile app does not use third-party advertising analytics.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. The current version is always published on this page with the update date.
